The Association hopes to reach children, youth, and young adults with diabetes in all regions of Egypt. Its objective is to develop a country-wide network of AYD members who believe firmly in the benefits of therapeutic education and support for diabetics and their families.

By raising awareness of the needs of youngsters with diabetes and implementing trainings for healthcare providers, future generations of children and youth with diabetes will have the opportunity to enjoy a healthier lifestyle.
